Restore Default Settings

The “Restore Default Settings” page in the WP Statistics plugin allows you to revert all configurations back to the original settings that were in place upon initial installation. This feature is designed to offer a quick and easy way to start afresh without having to go through the individual settings or if troubleshooting requires resetting to the defaults.

Reset Options

When this option is selected, it indicates your intention to restore the default settings.

Ticking this box will enable the “Restore Defaults” button at the bottom of the page.

Caution

  • Warning: A clear warning is displayed stating that the changes made by this action are irreversible.
  • Implication: It’s important to understand that once the default settings are restored, any custom configurations will be lost permanently.

For Multisite Users

  • Note: An additional note for users running a WordPress multisite installation informs that the reset will affect every site within the network, applying default settings across the board.
