Operating Systems Report

The “Operating Systems” report page is part of the Devices reports, available since version 14.8. Previously, this report was a standalone menu, but it has now been integrated under the Devices menu to provide a more organized and comprehensive view of visitor data. This report provides detailed information about the operating systems used by visitors to your website. Understanding the operating systems your visitors use can help optimize website performance and ensure compatibility.

Accessing the Operating Systems Report

To access the Operating Systems report, navigate to the WP Statistics plugin in your WordPress dashboard, and under the “Statistics” section, select “Devices,” then choose the “Operating Systems” tab.

Report Features

Main Table

The main table on the Operating Systems report page lists the following information:

• OS: The name of the operating system used by visitors.
• Visitor Count: The number of visitors using each operating system.
• Percent Share: The percentage of total visitors using each operating system.

Operating System Detection

The WP Statistics plugin uses the WhichBrowser library to detect operating systems and their versions.
