The Visitor Insights Reports section in the WP Statistics plugin provides essential details about your website’s visitors and their behavior. It is designed to help you monitor traffic, track trends, and understand how users interact with your content. This section includes four key reports: Visitors, Views, Online Visitors, and Top Visitors.
To ensure privacy, WP Statistics uses a daily salt for visitor data. This means that a visitor who views your site multiple times in one day is counted as a single unique visitor. However, if the same visitor returns on different days, each visit is considered a unique visitor.
If you want to track logged-in users along with their information, see this guide: How to Track Logged-In User Activity.
Visitors
The Visitors Report logs detailed information about individual visitors, including when they visited, their location, the device they used, and the pages they viewed. It helps you track unique visitors and understand where your traffic is coming from.
