In this version, we’ve introduced three key updates.
Improved Entry Page Reporting
Accurate visitor insights are essential. With this update, we’ve improved how entry pages are displayed in the Visitor Report by including query parameters (such as UTM tags).
This enhancement gives you more context about how visitors arrive at your site, helping you better track marketing campaigns and traffic sources.
Notification System
Staying informed about plugin updates, new features, and important announcements is now easier than ever. With the new Notification System, you’ll find relevant messages directly in your WordPress admin panel.
This ensures you never miss critical news about WP Statistics, special offers, or important alerts—all without leaving your dashboard.
If you prefer not to receive notifications, you can easily disable them by navigating to:
Settings → Display Options → WP Statistics Notifications
Anonymous Data Sharing (Optional)
One of our ongoing challenges has been improving WP Statistics without knowing how the plugin is being used. Since we prioritize privacy, we’ve never collected usage data from our users.
To help us make better decisions and prioritize improvements, we’ve introduced an optional, anonymous data collection system. When enabled, it shares basic usage insights that allow us to understand which features are most valuable and where users face difficulties.
This feature is:
- Disabled by default
- Completely optional
- Designed with privacy in mind
