The Visitors Report in the WP Statistics provides a detailed log of individual visitors to your website. This report allows you to analyze who is visiting, where they come from, and what pages they interact with, helping you understand your audience and improve engagement strategies.
Last View
Displays the date and time of the visitor’s most recent interaction with your website. This information helps you track when visitors are most active.
Visitor Information
Shows detailed information about the visitor’s browser, operating system, and device type. If the “Track Logged-In Users” feature is enabled, the report will also display logged-in user information (e.g., username) if the visitor is logged in.
For guidance on enabling this feature, refer to: How to Track Logged-In User Activity.
Location
Provides geographical data, including the visitor’s country and city. This insight helps you understand the geographic distribution of your audience.
Referrer
Displays the domain that referred the visitor to your website, such as google.com
or facebook.com
. If no referrer is available, this field will remain empty.
Total Views
Shows the total number of pages viewed by the visitor during the day. This count resets daily, as WP Statistics uses a daily salt to maintain privacy and count unique visitors accurately.
Latest Page
Displays the last page the visitor interacted with before leaving your website.
Privacy-Friendly Visitor Counting
To protect user privacy, WP Statistics uses a daily salt to anonymize visitor data. This method ensures that a visitor who views your site multiple times in a day is counted as one unique visitor. However, if the same visitor returns on another day, they will be counted as a unique visitor for that day.
