Dashboard Widgets

The Dashboard Widgets feature allows users to see important statistics directly on the WordPress dashboard. This feature is enabled by default, making it easy for site administrators to view valuable insights at a glance. The widgets provide quick access to important data about the website’s performance and visitors.

How to Enable Dashboard Widgets

Dashboard Widgets are enabled by default, but they can be managed through the settings:

  1. Go to the WordPress admin area.
  2. Navigate to Settings.
  3. Click on the Display Options tab.
  4. Find the section for Widgets in the WordPress dashboard.
  5. Use the toggle to turn the widgets on or off.

Customizing the Dashboard

When this feature is enabled, various widgets will appear on the WordPress dashboard. These widgets show different types of information, such as traffic overview, top device models, top countries, and more.

Managing Dashboard Widgets

  1. Using Screen Options: You can choose which widgets to show or hide on your dashboard by using the Screen Options menu:
    • Go to the top right corner of the WordPress dashboard.
    • Click on Screen Options to open the menu.
    • Check or uncheck the boxes next to each widget to show or hide them.
  2. Rearranging Widgets: The widgets can be moved around to fit your preferences:
    • Click and hold the title bar of any widget.
    • Drag the widget to a new location on the dashboard.
    • Release the mouse button to place the widget where you want it.
