WP Statistics 14.16.16
On this page
This release adds a separate AI Assistants traffic channel for ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and more, and makes CookieYes an option under Consent Plugin Integration so it works without WP Consent API. It also counts Server Side Tracking visitors from search, social and ads again, lists CookieHub correctly under WP Consent API, fixes a network admin crash on single-site installs, and makes the admin bar and Pages list faster.
Full changelog
Added a separate AI Assistants traffic channel for ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, DeepSeek, Grok, Mistral Le Chat, Meta AI, You.com, and Phind. Existing visits are not reclassified.
New
CookieYes is now an option under Consent Plugin Integration, so it works without WP Consent API.
New
The admin bar and the Pages list no longer repeat the same statistics queries, so admin screens load a little faster.
Improve
With Server Side Tracking, visitors arriving from a link on another site (search, social, ads) are no longer excluded as cross-site requests.
Fix
CookieHub now shows correctly in the WP Consent API compatible plugins list.
Fix
Opening the network admin URL (`/wp-admin/network/admin.php`) on a single-site install no longer causes a fatal error about `get_sites()`; WordPress shows its normal "Multisite support is not enabled" message instead.
