In WP Statistics version 14.11, we’ve completely reworked the Referral Tracking section to bring you a clearer, more powerful view of your referral traffic. With this update, you’ll find all referral tracking reports under a new menu called “Referrals,” giving you three detailed reports to help you understand and optimize your traffic sources.
What’s New in Referrals Tracking?
The Referrals menu now includes:
- Referred Visitors: See the latest visitors referred to your site.
- Referrers: Discover your top referral domains and which sources are driving traffic to your site.
- Search Engines: Track traffic coming from search engines, with the option to filter between Organic and Paid traffic sources for more precise insights.
With this new Search Engine report, we’ve replaced the old Search Engines report to provide a more accurate, detailed view of search-based referrals.
Better Accuracy and a New Traffic Source Category
Our revamped referral tracking not only improves accuracy but also introduces a new feature: Traffic Source Categories. Starting in version 14.11, you can categorize your traffic by source type, with support for:
- Organic Search
- Paid Search
These categories help you see the breakdown of your search traffic and allow for a better understanding of how visitors find your site. And this is just the beginning! In future updates, we’ll be adding more source categories, like Organic Social and Paid Social, to give you even deeper insights.
Explore the New Referrals Tracking
This major update is designed to give you more reliable and organized data on where your visitors come from. With WP Statistics 14.11, referral tracking is now easier to navigate and provides a more complete picture of your site’s reach and influence.
