How to Clear User Agent Strings

This guide will assist you in clearing all User Agent Strings from your database within the WP Statistics plugin. This action is irreversible, so it should be executed with caution.

Step 1: Navigate to the “Optimization” Page:

  • Within your WordPress dashboard, locate the WP Statistics menu.
  • Click on the “Optimization” page to access various options for data management.

Step 2: Access the “Data Cleanup” Tab:

  • On the “Optimization” page, you will find several tabs at the top.
  • Click on the “Data Cleanup” tab to view data management options.

Step 3: Locate the “Data” Section:

  • Within the “Data Cleanup” tab, scroll down to the “Data” section.
  • This section contains various options to manage and clean your statistical data.

Step 4: Clear User Agent Strings:

  • Find the “Clear User Agent Strings” option.
  • Read the provided description carefully to ensure you understand that this process is permanent.

Step 5: Execute the Cleanup:

  • Once you are ready to proceed, click on the “Clear User Agent Data Now” button.
  • You may receive a prompt asking for confirmation to proceed with the deletion. Confirm the action.

Note: Once you have cleared the User Agent Strings, this data will be irretrievably deleted from your database. Ensure you have exported or backed up any necessary information before performing this action.
